Except, you lot could read information technology to a toddler or maiden aunt and they would hear and see an utterly innocuous story about a shaggy pet, taken for a trim.
But that'south assuming you could read information technology with a straight face.
This has the loudest subtext I've ever encountered.
I laughed.
And and so I felt a bit guilty.
Brenda should be able to have her beaver as bushy every bit she likes, without beingness shamed by so-called friends.
So I decided that as long every bit one is woke enough to feel a trivial guilty,

• Spank the Monkey Lends a Paw

Holy shit, that was hilarious! As double entendre kids' books get, this was one of the all-time. I'thou going to take to notice the rest of these.

Okay so... I wouldn't go as far as to say this was a good volume simply I came beyond it on a group I'm a fellow member of on Facebook, on a twenty-four hours when I really merely needed a good express joy and this did not disappoint. It'southward silly, clever, agreeable and terrible all at the same fourth dimension. The whole book is a double entendre equally I'm sure yous tin can tell by reading the championship. Okay and then... I wouldn't become equally far as to say this was a skillful book but I came across it on a group I'grand a member of on Facebook, on a day when I really but needed a practiced laugh and this did not disappoint. It'southward empty-headed, clever, amusing and terrible all at the same fourth dimension. The whole book is a double entendre every bit I'm certain you tin tell by reading the title. Really it'south just a book of sense of humour and information technology has cute illustrations and the beaver is adorable too! Would I read this to a child? No probably not. 😂😂😂 But information technology's not like they'd empathize the references.
I wouldn't waste your fourth dimension if you're hands offended! If you're not and having a bad solar day and just need to laugh a piddling so read this.
(view spoiler)[I was actually hoping it would finish with something like: Instead it was highly predictable in that she had it "groomed" and of a sudden everyone is happy with it. (hibernate spoiler)]
My beaver is fine just the fashion it looks,
If you don't like information technology, I'll smack you with my books!

Kudos, Madam Tayanita, for this insightful piece. I will read every bit many as I can. I needed a laugh while on isolation.

This isn't a childrens book, delight beware.Holy Hell, have me a piffling to effigy out what was talking well-nigh, but was kind of funny, only not exactly something I'yard concur,. Everyone must do with her beaver what desiree.

Body shaming is real, just sometimes a silly joke is just a silly joke. People who pretend to not see the departure are disingenuous at best.Personally, I stone a big lxx'southward bush and I thought Brenda's Beaver Needs a Barber was amusing.

Oh my... this was entertaining to say the to the lowest degree.Yous should read if yous're looking for a good laugh. Though, I'm not actually sure I would feel comfortable reading this to children. Fifty-fifty though they probably wouldn't selection up on the inuendoes.

The double entendre runs deep with this one. (Evidently, there'south a whole series of similar humor books.) Information technology'due south one of those children's books that isn't a children'south volume merely looks like a children'due south book... and is really only funny to adults who bask this brand of sense of humor. I'd recommend it as a gag gift for a bachelorette political party or something forth those lines.Information technology's a kind of cute story for those who don't get the jokes. It'south a make clean-read if you don't get the jokes. I've only read 2 other books of this type (by other authors). This one is better than those. A friend shared this book with me. The book is somewhat controversial, entertaining, and is a comedy. The drawings are practiced.
The beaver is, umm, fluffier than bodily animal ones I've seen in the wild, which I assume is on purpose because of what information technology actually represents. (Whatever female "manscaping" is called. The Internet has only angry answers to that question. Delight pardon my lack of knowledge.) The volume isn't relevant to me or my own life. It's very much aimed at women. Brenda's goal, I believe, is for her and her beaver to expect a certain mode in a swimsuit. Some friends assist with this befitting. Trimming gives Brenda and Beaver more conviction and pride, in the book. So the theme is most plumbing fixtures in. And it does agree a mirror upwardly to society because some people are harsh judges of... unkept beavers in swimwear. I have heard others make such comments amid themselves. So there does exist a group in society who cares virtually this topic. (I'm not in that grouping. Only you do you. Whatever.)
If inadvertent adult sense of humour is your thing, and so you'd probably enjoy this book.
...moreI saw this volume shared in a series of Facebook posts and my beau and I laughed our heads off reading it together. Information technology's very inappropriate which is what makes it fun and hilarious.
This isn't really a children'southward book but I feel like almost children will miss the double entendres (and so it should be OK for them to read this) which means this would be a really funny volume for the entire family to read together (and brand storytime more fun for the parents).

...moreAs much every bit I enjoyed it, I practice have a minor peeve with it. I wish the ending had been less conformist, as there were plenty of good chuckles that could have come from a dissimilar catastrophe.
Nonetheless, worth information technology if you want a quick laugh.
Hilarious.
Only why did Brenda have to arrange to everybody else? I didn't like that.
